Refund policy

At Molly’s Backyard, your satisfaction is our priority. We offer a 30-day return policy in line with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) to ensure a fair and transparent shopping experience.

 

 Change of Mind Returns

If you've changed your mind, you may return your item within 7 calendar days of receiving it, provided that:

  • The item is unused, in saleable condition, and in its original packaging
  • All original parts, manuals, and accessories are included
  • You can provide proof of purchase (e.g. receipt or order number)

 Please note:

  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

 Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Faulty or not working as intended
  • Damaged in transit
  • Incorrect (not what you ordered)

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at info@mollysbackyard.com.au with:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Photos or videos, if applicable

We will offer a refund, repair, or replacement as required under the ACL.

 Important:
Damage reported more than 24 hours after delivery may not be eligible for freight damage claims.
We do not cover issues caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or negligence.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • A refund will be issued to your original payment method within 2–5 business days
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed

  1. Check with your bank or payment provider
  2. Contact your card issuer or PayPal
  3. Still no refund? Email us at: info@mollysbackyard.com.au

 Exclusions

  • Sale or clearance items are non-refundable unless faulty
  • Gift returns may be issued as store credit or gift vouchers (case-by-case basis)

 

 Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

  • All returns must be sent to the address above
  • Customers are responsible for return postage unless otherwise agreed
  • We strongly recommend using trackable shipping and insurance

This policy does not override your rights under the ACL.
You are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if a product:

  • Is faulty or defective
  • Is not fit for its intended purpose
  • Does not match its description
